牛久シャトー株式会社（茨城県牛久市）は、同社ワイナリーにおいて、牛久シャトー内のブドウ圃場および茨城農芸学院（同市久野町）内で栽培、収穫されたブドウ （品種：メルロー）を使用した果実酒「牛久葡萄酒 Merlot2024」を発売しますのでお知らせいたします。
同商品は2025年5月1日（木）より牛久シャトー ショップにて発売します。
牛久シャトー レストランでも同日からご提供を開始します。
今回のワインは、牛久シャトーおよび茨城農芸学院で栽培、収穫されたブドウ品種”メルロー”を国の重要文化財、日本遺産、近代化産業遺産の認・指定をうけている神谷傳兵衛記念館（醗酵室）内の牛久シャトー ワイナリーで醸造したワインとなり、今回で茨城農芸学院産メルローを使用した２回目のワインとなります。
販売予定数は2,000本限定。
「牛久葡萄酒 Merlot2024」の特徴
１．牛久シャトーおよび茨城農芸学院の葡萄畑で栽培、収穫されたメルローを使用し、国指定重要文化財、日本遺産、近代化産業遺産の牛久シャトー ワイナリーで醸造されたワイン。
２．甘く、優しい香りをまとった軽やかなアタック。
３．フレッシュで心地よい爽やかな酸味が口中にひろがる。
４．明治時代の包装紙デザインを、ラベルに採用。
「牛久葡萄酒 Merlot2024」誕生の背景
観光庁「地域の観光資源の磨き上げを通じた域内連携促進に向けた実証事業」採択事業として、文化庁から認定された日本遺産ストーリーを“体感・共感する学習型コンテンツ”の企画造成及び土産品などの新商品開発として、ワイン文化日本遺産協議会（会長：沼田和利）が牛久シャトー株式会社と共同開発。本年の発売で4回目となる。

Ushiku Chateau Co., Ltd. (Ushiku City, Ibaraki Prefecture) is pleased to announce that its winery will be releasing "Ushiku Grape Wine Merlot 2024," a fruit liquor made from grapes (Merlot variety) grown and harvested in Ushiku City
This product will be available at Ushiku Chateau shop from Thursday, May 1, 2025.
It will also be available at Ushiku Chateau restaurant from the same day.
The planned sales quantity is limited to 2,000 bottles.
Features of "Ushiku Grape Wine Merlot 2024"
1. This wine is made using Merlot grown and harvested in Ushiku City, and brewed at the Ushiku Chateau Winery, an Important Cultural Property, Japan Heritage, and Heritage of Industrial Modernization.
2. A light attack with a sweet, gentle aroma.
3. A fresh, pleasant, refreshing acidity spreads throughout the mouth.
4. The label uses the wrapping paper design from the Meiji period.
