Access to Ushiku City

Access to Ushiku City by train. From Tokyo, you will arrive at Ushiku Station in about 52 minutes from Tokyo Station on the JR Joban Line (Ueno Tokyo Line). From Mito, take the JR Joban Line from Mito Station to Ushiku Station in about 70 minutes.
Access to Ushiku City by car. From Tokyo, take the Joban Expressway about 40km from Tsukuba JCT, then take the Ken-O Expressway about 1km from Tsukuba Ushiku IC and take National Route 408 to Ushiku City in about 6km. From Narita International Airport, arrive at Narita JCT at about 5km on the New Airport Expressway, then arrive at Taiei JCT at about 5km on the Higashi Kanto Expressway, then Ushiku Ami IC at about 30km on the Ken-O Expressway, and then prefectural and national highways. Take No. 408 for about 5 km to Ushiku City. From Ibaraki Airport, take the prefectural road about 20km to Chiyoda Ishioka IC, then the Joban Expressway about 25km to Tsukuba JCT, then the Ken-O Expressway about 1km to Tsukuba Ushiku IC, and National Highway 408 to Ushiku City for about 6km.

Access to Koshu City

Access to Koshu City by train. From Tokyo, you will arrive at Katsunumabudokyo Station from Shinjuku Station in about 1 hour and 40 minutes on the JR Chuo Main Line. From Matsumoto, you will arrive at Katsunumabudokyo Station in about 2 hours from Matsumoto Station on the JR Chuo Main Line.
Access to Koshu City by car. From Tokyo, you will arrive at Katsunuma IC in about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Shinjuku on the Chuo Expressway. From Matsumoto, you will arrive at Katsunuma IC in about 1 hour and 30 minutes on the Chuo Expressway from Matsumoto. From Gotemba, you will arrive at Katsunuma IC in about 2 hours from Gotemba on the JR Chuo Main Line.
