The 4th Ushiku Chateau Japan Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, February 22nd.
Date and time: Saturday, February 22, 2025, 10:00-15:30
*Will proceed even in light rain. In case of severe weather, will be postponed to Sunday, February 23.

Japan Heritage Ushiku Chateau will be showcasing the charms of the region! There will be lots of fun events.
Coffee brewed the way it was brewed in the Meiji and Taisho eras, in an important cultural property
[Location: Main building, 2nd floor]
In the main building of Ushiku Chateau, which is usually closed to the public, you can enjoy coffee from Nanbu Coffee, a famous Ushiku coffee shop that has been featured on TV. You can enjoy coffee brewed the way it was brewed in the Meiji and Taisho eras.
Ushiku Chateau Mini Guided Tour
[Location: Kamiya Denbei Memorial Hall (Kamiya Denbei Kinenkan), Winery, Brewery]
Advance reservations are given priority (first 10 people per tour)

・Japan's only winery tour inside an important cultural property 11:30~

Japan Heritage and you are the main characters! Wear an antique kimono and travel back to the Meiji period 120 years ago! (Kimono dressing experience)

Spreading the appeal of Japan Heritage and Ibaraki Prefecture!
[Location/Sunken Garden, etc.]
Promotion of Japan Heritage and local governments with ties to Ushiku City and sales of local specialty products. Ibaraki Prefecture southern municipal mascot characters will also gather round!
[Participating councils] councils in Mito City, Kasama City, Otsu City in Shiga Prefecture and Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture
[Participating municipalities] Hitachiota City, Ishioka City, Tsukuba City, Tsukubamirai City, Tsuchiura City, Ryugasaki City, Ami Town, Kawachi Town, Miho Village, and Tone Town in Ibaraki Prefecture
Let's eat chanko (Sumo wrestler's hotpot) and support Nishonoseki stable! 100 meals distributed free of charge
[Numbered ticket distribution location: After the opening ceremony at the BBQ Garden Stage]
The first 100 customers will receive free original chanko made by a vocational school in Tsukuba!

[Registration location: Next to the BBQ Garden Terrace]
A stamp rally where you can go around the venue and take quizzes about Japan Heritage. This was made possible with the cooperation of Ushiku 1st Jr High School students and Ushiku Junior Chamber Inc.

Due to the food event venue, the parking lot is not available. Please use public transportation or the shuttle bus (departing from and arriving at Ushiku Sports Park (Ushiku Undo Koen)).
