Miyakoen was a winery and vineyard built in the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) that included promotional tours that attracted visitors. The materials possessed by Miyakoen include: a list of the names of members of the Imperial family and distinguished people from the political and business worlds who visited the facility; wine labels such as for Kai Wine and Daikokuten Brand Kai Wine, and original photographs of members of the Imperial family taken when they visited Miyakoen.
