The main building and wine cellar of Kurambon Wine Co., Ltd. have been selected as Japan Heritage sites. The company was originally founded as a small winery in 1913 by Chosaku Nozawa, the first head of the Nozawa family, which at that time had a silk-raising farm. Since its founding, the firm was renamed several times and finally incorporated as the present Kurambon Wine Co., Ltd.
