These materials include: a list of the names of people who visited Kamiya Vineyard during the period from the Meiji (1868 - 1912) to the Taisho era (1912 - 1925); the documents related to vine growing and wine making which were brought back from France by Kamiya Denzo (the adopted son of Kamiya Denbe), who had studied viniculture and wine making in France; and letters received and original photographs taken at the time that grapes produced at Kamiya Vineyard were presented to Emperor Meiji.
